Scandic goes to jail!
We are volunteering our engineering, prototyping and machining talents to help the National Park Service renovate the locks on the cells at Alcatraz.
The 1932 technology is wearing out, and replacement parts just don't exist. Scandic sent a team to survey the work, and we are now helping the
general contractor replace the master cell locking system components. From making CAD files, to using our waterjet technology and wire EDMs,
to conventional machining, Scandic is helping to restore The Rock.
