Inside Sales/Customer service in our Sales Department

This position requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and an interest in custom engineered products. Scandic's success rests on the "front line" people who work with our customers to give them the information and support they need. Prototype Technician in our Secondary Operations department

Primary duties are:
  • setting up forming and punching tools
  • using CNC brake press, arbor press, drill press and lathe
  • working from prints and specifications to develop production paths
  • measuring features and recording inspection data, using calipers and optical comparators

Punch Press Set-up Person, setting up presses from 30 to 150 tons

Primary duties are:
  • setting up blanking, compound, forming and progressive dies
  • using servo feeders and material conditioners
  • monitoring all aspects of set-up and production
  • measuring features and recording inspection data, using calipers and optical comparators
